All of the hard work and 'wedmin' paid off and Ania & Declan had a day as sunny, happy and warm as they are x
Glangevlin might just be my new favourite place. Heather, my new favourite colour... and Rosie & Declan, my favourite people I've ever been stuck up a mountain in the rain with... but that light! Declan you were right! The brilliant Rosie & Declan and a magical day...
Imagine your wedding, just your family and closest friends, in a forest over a wooden bridge beside a babbling brook, your granny playing the piano as your dad walks you down your grassy aisle. Then you get some picture of how special weddings in Macreddin Village are. Now imagine you're Jessica and none of this existed when you ran around these woods as a child while your dad and his brothers planned to build BrookLodge as it stands today.... Jessica and Enda and a very special day in a place very special to them...
From the very first emails that made me laugh and their detailed plans for maximum fun I knew Lisa & Tim's wedding was going to be great. Like a big fun colourful festival but where everyone keeps crying (not just Tim). Yards of homemade bunting, a troop of excited flower girls, super-talented singing guests (more crying), vows under a giant weeping beach tree and soo much confetti! Lisa & Tim's wedding was the kind of day that reminds you that love is just the happiest thing in the world xx
Francesca & Brian came all the way from Italy and Chicago to Dublin to throw the best party of their lives for their family and friends. I may not have understood a word the Italians said all day but from all the tears, hugs and laughter I'm guessing the general tone was a lot of love and happiness. A day full of tears, hugging, laughter, joy, a healthy dose of Guinness and Prosecco and a party I hated to leave... Francesca and Brian's slideshow <3
Dee is my little sister's best friend, which is a little bit like photographing your sister's wedding except with more "don't embarrass me" texts ;) There may have been tears (not all of them mine) but mostly there was pure joy!
Cloughjordan House is epic, the light, the setting, a photographer's dream. Dee and James made it extra gorgeous with their Room in Bloom decor and super cute ("we're so happy you here") signs. The weather played ball for the perfect outdoor ceremony with emotional dad performances and more tears... I could go on but here it is... The fabulous Dee and James - a love story in 5 Acts. All thanks to Ryanair! xx
