From the very first emails that made me laugh and their detailed plans for maximum fun I knew Lisa & Tim's wedding was going to be great. Like a big fun colourful festival but where everyone keeps crying (not just Tim). Yards of homemade bunting, a troop of excited flower girls, super-talented singing guests (more crying), vows under a giant weeping beach tree and soo much confetti! Lisa & Tim's wedding was the kind of day that reminds you that love is just the happiest thing in the world xx
Francesca & Brian came all the way from Italy and Chicago to Dublin to throw the best party of their lives for their family and friends. I may not have understood a word the Italians said all day but from all the tears, hugs and laughter I'm guessing the general tone was a lot of love and happiness. A day full of tears, hugging, laughter, joy, a healthy dose of Guinness and Prosecco and a party I hated to leave... Francesca and Brian's slideshow <3
Dee is my little sister's best friend, which is a little bit like photographing your sister's wedding except with more "don't embarrass me" texts ;) There may have been tears (not all of them mine) but mostly there was pure joy!
Cloughjordan House is epic, the light, the setting, a photographer's dream. Dee and James made it extra gorgeous with their Room in Bloom decor and super cute ("we're so happy you here") signs. The weather played ball for the perfect outdoor ceremony with emotional dad performances and more tears... I could go on but here it is... The fabulous Dee and James - a love story in 5 Acts. All thanks to Ryanair! xx
Featuring a fabulous flower-horse called Bill Clinton, an explosion of beautifully coordinated colour to let us know this is a PARTY and the greatest drinks reception ever thanks to The Bootleg Beachboys and their very enthusiastic audience... Anne & Rónán and their fantastically fun wedding in Castle Leslie x
Laura and Keith are so instantly lovable I had to remind myself I was working and not just at my friends' wedding wearing lots of cameras. Beyond a fantastic couple this was a day of emotional first looks, magical backdrops (is there a more beautiful venue than the Cliff at Lyons on a sunny day?), twin nuns called Gin & Tonic and a rescue limo called Bob. What more could you want?
Are Tanith and Colm the loveliest, most chilled people in the world? Is every person they know also ridiculously nice? Is Coolbawn Quay the loveliest, most peaceful little place in the country? All these things are possible. All I know is that by the end of the day I was sitting on a perfect lakeshore waxing lyrical to Kevin about how this is the best job in the world. So Tan & Col thank you for that xx
The cutest little crew of flower girls and page boys (and a page girl!) you'll ever meet and a day full of tears, hugs and laughter and even a beautiful bride singing her way down the aisle to her groom (more tears!) Ann & Paul's intimate wedding in the epic setting of The K Club x
I've no idea what time this night finished up but in my head Claire and Mark are still out there somewhere dancing and laughing and the cocktails are flowing. One of those awesome days you kinda wish you could put down the cameras and just be a guest....
