What do you get when an Irish passport carrying Frenchman, who likes to be called Seamus, marries a beautiful Galway Girl he fell in love with across a crowded mirrored dance floor in Leggs?
Answer: Claire and Camille’s Franco-Irish Wedding Extravaganza complete with champagne fountains; shamrock cufflinks; ocean blue colour scheme (for the big day on Galway Bay); orchids and throwable top hats; adorable French flower girls in flower crowns and a model like bride in a stunning Suzanne Neville gown. Throw in a healthy dose of Saw Doctors and some Edith Piaf and you have a recipe for a fantastic wedding day.
The icing on the cake for me was a big dollop of emotion because Claire and Camille aren’t only clients, they’re also very close friends of mine so it was extra special to be there to photograph the happy ending to a story that’s been a fairytale from the moment Claire met her French prince.
Congratulations, Comhghairdeachas and Félicitations Madame et Monsieur Voisin! Kev and I have had an absolute ball from the minute we started wedding photography planning right through to reliving the whole day with you when you viewed your gallery for the first time. Can we do it all again??
P.S. This blog comes with a fabulous Fusion video by my super talented husband Kevin incorporating the photographs into the live action, emotion and sounds of the day. Enjoy! xx
