The Ferrycarrig Hotel is where it all began when a teenage Nick first met a teenage Maria at a debs but it was years later that tag rugby finally brought them together. Still the Ferrycarrig seemed the perfect place for the celebration and this really was a celebration! Maria and Nick wore huge smiles all day, clearly determined to enjoy every minute of it. It was a day filled with laughter in the company of friends and families so welcoming Kevin and I felt like they were old friends of ours by the time I left. I think we even made it into a few photos!

A laid back fun couple Maria and Nick weren’t going to miss a minute of the craic. After their lovely ceremony (in one of the prettiest little wedding churches in the country at Crossabeg), when all the guests snuck off to the local pub to quench their thirst there was no way the bride and groom weren’t going with them. So, unusually for me, the first bride and groom portraits of the day were taken while Maria and Nick drank a celebratory Guinness in a snug. Somehow it seemed perfect.

Congratulations again Maria and Nick! And thanks for a brilliant day x

Thanks, as always to my own super husband on second shooter and video duty x
