When I asked Ingrid and Phil if there were any special photographs they’d like on their wedding day, I knew from their response that this would be one of those weddings so lovely and sweet that even I might cry. They wanted a photo of their runners under their wedding clothes, because they met in a running club, and could we somehow include Mr Hobbs, Ingrid’s 17 year old dog. Also Englishman Phil had a green waistcoat specially made to celebrate marrying his Irish love.
I was right, it was beautiful! The ceremony in the gorgeous stone-walled Culmullen Church beside Ingrid’s house was performed by the local priest who had watched Ingrid grew up into the beautiful elegant women she is. Mr Hobbs made his appearance outside to congratulate the beaming newlyweds. The family closeness and genuine delight in this happy occasion ran through every part of the day culminating in a rollercoaster of speeches in the stunning candlelit Orangery at Tankardstown House. We laughed, we cried, we laughed again… and then the waiters started opera singing!
Congratulations Ingrid & Phil! We loved your wedding, hope you love your slideshow! xx
