A December wedding day in Dublin that decided to show off — winter light pouring into Trinity College Chapel at a low golden angle, a spontaneous pint outside Kehoes on Dawson Street, and a sparkler exit across the K Club gardens to finish.

A Dublin Gospel Choir, a confetti exit into a cloud of flower petals, people dancing on their chairs before dinner was even finished, and a gin club set up for the guests. Anna and Cormac's wedding at Gloster House was elegant and joyful and completely, brilliantly wild.

A forest ceremony by the brook with a harp playing beside the water, an ice cream cart for confetti, a quiet pint together at Acton's in the golden hour, and a first dance outside BrookHall surrounded by sparklers and the last of the Wicklow sun. Lucy and Tiarnán got the most glorious day of the summer.

Coral florals, a white tuxedo, a cocker spaniel carrying the rings, and fabric for the ceremony that Karen's mum and sister made by hand. Karen and Niall's wedding at Borris House was the kind that reminds you what all of this is really for.

Sarah and Alish's wedding was classically, beautifully traditional in every way — except for the two brides, which is a new Irish tradition, written into the Constitution on the 22nd of May 2015.

Murphy's Barn sits between Forth Mountain and the Irish Sea in the heart of County Wexford, ten minutes from Wexford Town. It's a rustic, characterful alternative venue that suits couples who want their wedding to feel entirely like theirs. One of my favourite places to photograph a wedding in the south east.
